3D Detail component manager

I wish there was a 3D detail component manager in Revit similar to ADT's 2D detail component manager. Where it could be open at all times and be dockable on my second monitor. The component manager would have all the basic components such as fasteners, clip angles, shear plates, base plates, joist straps, door hardware, etc. The list could go on and on.

PS: It is and would be a very time consuming job to create all of these that are needed to finish off a project.

might not be exactly what you are looking for, but you can have a the family directory maximized on the second window set to "thumbnails". The you can just drag and drop.

Yeh, that's what I am doing right now too

But it would be nice to have a integrated dockable family browser.Sort of like what VISIO have (dockable + drop down list)...It save the time from flipping back and forth..between explorer and Revit. Another reason is that those thumbnails generated by Explorer are pretty blurry and you can hardly see what it is at anytime. that would be really neat.
