    Default Editing attributes across layouts

I have multiple layouts in a drawing, each with the same titleblock. How can I make changes to one of the titleblocks and have it make the same changes in the titleblocks in the other layouts?

In 2005 (you neglected to tell us what version you are using) you would use Fields.

    Hi,

If the titleblock is the same with attributes use the find and replace with the options set to block attribute values and search and replace all in the entire drawing. We do this all of the time to set the correct date in the revision in all sheets at once.

    Hi,

Check out GATTE (Express Tools) at the command line. This will allow you to do exactly what you want if your titleblock is a block with attributes.

You could also use the find and replace set to block attribute or text or mtext, whole words only and entire drawing.
