How can I modify Drawing Template?

I am using AutoCAD 2015 and have created a custom drawing template from the standard am_din.dwg template. It leaves me with lines at the bottom of the sheet which I would like to remove:


These lines perform like they are borders of a table cell. AutoCAD will not let me Snip them. How can I delete them?

What type of objects are these lines? Are you using a vertical on your AutoCAD 2015?

looks like your problem is Inventor Objects carried into the dwg. Choices would appear to be to either Erase or Explode them

Thanks, cadtag, but the problem is that I do not know what you mean by "... Erase or Explode ...".
May I trouble you to explain? How can I modify this template so the lines I don't like are gone?

Uhm... those are autocad commands, select the Inventor objects, and type ERASE at the command line

That was interesting
Trying to modify the block in Inventor closed Inventor and opened the file in AutoCAD (all by itself).
To modify it I needed Block Editor - but it modified, saved, and I reopened it in Inventor with the changes.
It worked - as far as removing the line goes. I haven't had time to check but I guess that will stop the table cell behaviour as well.
