Red face Panning with wheel mouse button

    Good evening,
I have been trying to get my mouse man wheel to work with zoom and pan, I was able to get it to zoom, but as far as pan is concerned I can not, I have downloaded the latest drivers for the mouse, I have gone into Autodesk to check some of the comments regarding this feature, tried all of them without avail, at this point I don't know what else to do, go out and buy another mouse, perhaps, but this mouse works well, I have had for a while now, of course I was not doing much ACAD at the time, until now.
Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks for your support.

    Sincerely

    Mariae

the mbuttonpan system variable needs to be set to 1, if it is and those little arrows are showing up similar to what happens in microsoft excel, try holding the ctrl button down while panning, it isn't a fix, but it might be a work around, we had a similar problem on a computer a while back, I cant remember how we permanently fixed it, but I do remember that ctrl seemed to help.
