Question Revit Family is hosted or unhosted in project

    Hello All,

I have tons of families in my project, say lighting (Ceiling host), I have to check quickly whether Revit Families are hosted or not.

One by one manually checking is time taking. Anybody knows how to quickly e.g. schedule, Dynamo / python script etc.

    Thanks & Regards

Here is a similar discussion where they did not find a good solution, I'm sure you're right that Dynamo has a better solution https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/revit...t/td-p/3558354

Here's someones graph for getting that information with Dynamo: https://forum.dynamobim.com/t/find-h...placed/14918/8

    Hello Duncan,
Hope you are doing well. Thank you for helping me.

On Autodesk forum, an expert’s comments are 1) Delete the host to check which are remaining families in the project. its good solution right now. But need to do in detached project for checking purpose.

    2) Edit Workplane, I believe, which we can do in family not in project

Provided Dynamo links are more useful for listing the all families hosted type. Unfortunately, not listing whether its hosted or not. But it’s very useful to identify families in the project.

Thank you again for all kind of help on this.

    Regards
    Yogesh
