    Default Etransmit files not located

    Hey all,

I'm tryingto close out a job with the client. They require we etransmit the project and burn to CD. My report lists a number of font files after 'the following files could not be located'. Their names are followed by (shx, ttx). Please refe to image. All of the files are there. All of the directories are pathed. The file has been purged. When I check my text style dialogue everything is kosher. The client won't accept the file with this shown in the report. What can I do?

Do these fonts display correctly on your drawing? It sounds very strange that even the STANDARD.SHX is not found, as this is the default font used when a particular font is not found. You state the paths are correct, the SHX fonts are in C:\Program Files\AutoCAD 2008\Fonts (on XP, Vista might be different). You don't need to also include C:\WINDOWS\Fonts for the TTF fonts in the Support File Search Path in Options. Maybe this is the problem, as ACad installs TTF versions of its SHX fonts here as well (so OLE works in other programs). If you've got the Win/Fonts in your path as well, try to remove it and see if the error still happens.

I Agree. Because if your Fonts are displaying correctly then Autocad have the right path so it will include in your etransmit. But if not displayed correctly then you have to fix your path or your fonts.
