    Question Random, silly question

Does anyone know what the "AR" prefix for some of the hatch patterns stands for? I'm just curious. Thanks so much!

Thank you! I knew it had to be something obvious. I appreciate the help.

No problem. It's usually best not to assume, who knows, it could have stood for some standards body or something, rather than the discipline of the textures being presented.

    Cheers!

I thought it was just pirate talk.

Anyhow, where did you find that out?

Okay, you caught me, it really *IS* just pirate talk.

I read it in a book somewhere.
Please don't make me look. I've got about 20 AutoCAD books in my office dating all the way back to when I was in high school.

I think they came from the original (British) AEC version.

ONLY 20? I got two bookcases here full plus the ones boxed up in the barn and the external HD full of digital books.
No they don't go back to my HS days either.

I'd been thinking they came along with the Softdesk acquisition, and had been part originally of that architecture package. Been to long now, and a lot of beer over the damn since then.
