Default Receive message - ARX Error: eDuplicateKey - when Copying from DWG to DWG

Every time that i copy something from one file to the other i get this
ARX Error: eDuplicateKey and the coputer has now shut down twice. i just installed the OE for 2006 and also the service pack 1. This is happening on almost every computer that we have.

The computer that is shutting down is a brand new dell with 1G memory. Any suggestions.

    Hi

See if the following gives you a clue...

ID: TS1056027 - ARX_ERROR when opening a drawing in AutoCAD

Plus, 18 results from an Autodesk Discussion Groups "All AutoCAD Groups" search...

    eDuplicateKey

    Have a good one, Mike

Our drawings are set to save as Autocad 2004 version. I did ran OEHotfix2005 and 2006.exe but i couldn't run OEHfix2004.exe. I'm getting "This hotfix cannot be applied" message. Is something wrong with the 2004 exe? I tried copy pasting objects from another drawing and I'm still getting this arx error: eDUPLICATEeKEY and as usual the drawings freezes.

    Hi

Pass... you would need to contact Autodesk directly and ask them, if there is something wrong with OEHfix2004.exe.

    Just checking here...

You are trying to apply OEHfix2004.exe to an Autodesk 2004 based product.

    Have a good one, Mike

Is this plain vanilla AutoCAD, or Map, or LDT, or MDT, or ADT, or
