pasted items not plotting

when we special paste all our excel sheets on paper space, it will not plot
if we special paste in model space and then vport it then it plots, any ideas why it will not plot when on paper space.

Haven't currently got access to AutoCAD (am at home) so can't experiment, will when I get to work tomorrow if you haven't received an answer by then; in the meantime have a look at -

In the Plot Dialog Box -> Layout Settings tab -> Is Plot Paperspace Last check box ticked

Could you post an example drawing file + excel file (if needed).

What version of AutoCAD are you using?

thanks, the plotter didn't like when i said the ole was line art but when i said it was text it plotted fine
