Unhappy Associative Hatch and it's boundaries.

i find the associative hatching a pain in the 2007 release, when i want to delete the hatch it deletes all the lines attached to the boundary,

with 2004 i never had this problem with associative hatch, the hatch was a separate entity.

anyone else find it annoying or is there a solution where i can have it associative and be able to delete without loosing the boundaries?

    Hi

It has nothing to do with AutoCAD 2007, but everything to do with system variable PickStyle.

    Hatching Association

    Associative Hatch

Hatch Boundary deletes if Hatch Pattern is deleted

Hatch Boundary Erased, No Osnaps on PS VP

Selecting Associative Hatch also selects Hatch Boundary

    Have a good one, Mike
