Default 2009 Project Browser Organization category help

    Hi All,

Working in Revit Architecture 2009. I've got my project browser set up with several categories "02 Plans", "03 Ceiling plans, etc. We have a category entitled "17 Printing" that we replaced with "17 Working" (we don't need a printing category anymore).

The problem is, in the view properties, that perameter still shows "17 Printing" as an option. Usually, if the option isn't being used, it automatically deletes from the drop-down list. This one is not. It is not populated with any views and is not showing up in the project broswer. Any thoughts?

    Thanks in advance!

I've seen that happening and don't think there's a solution. Perhaps a purge might clean it out? It's really not harmful, just "clutters" the workspace I guess!

I know this is an old thread, but in case anybody else runs across it.....and it's not answered elsewhere

Check your VIEW TEMPLATE SETTINGS. One of the view templates probably has it in there. It's where I found mine in.

You can also filter using only that value and see if it returns any views.

Excellent! I've run across that problem, and hadn't tracked it down. Thanks for sharing - nice first post!
