Paperspace display is black and white Only

First of all this is my first post...Here goes...
I just installed Autocad 2006. I have changed the layout background color to black.
I noticed that when I create viewports with the "MVIEW" command that the viewports do not show the colors of the drawing in model space. Any way to change this? By the way, I just upgraded From Autocad 2002 and maybe I just have some catching up to do.

Take a look at the following thread in the AutoCAD FAQ forum -

All entites in the layout (and entites showing in a viewport) show up black & white.
