Default Art Institute Student Needs Help

I am currently doing a project for my Autocad class. I need someone to answer the following questions for me if all possible. I really appreciate your help. Please answer the following questions for me. It can be more than one person. Thanks.

    (1) Name, location, and profession of the person,

    (2) When do you use CAD in the production process (i.e. preliminary design, design development, etc.),

    (3) The types of standardization they use, and

    (4) Advantages or disadvantages that CAD brings to your practice.

    Hi Melissa,

Try looking HERE, HERE, HERE, and HERE. That should get you started.

Some see the glass as half full, others as half empty. As an engineer I see the glass as twice as big as it needs to be. ~Unknown~

Make sure to tell your instructor we said "Hi!".
If you have a technical question, please find the appropriate forum and ask it there.
You will get a quicker response from your fellow AUGI members than if you sent it to me via a PM or email.

He, he, he..... I wonder if it's the same instructor, and if it is, I wonder if he/she recognizes the same answers....

Well, I have never answered these before (I don't think) here's mine:
    1. Ted Goulet, South Portland Maine, Structural Drafter/Designer
    2. All phases: Schematic Design, Design Development, CD's, As-Builts
    3. Mostly NCS 3.1 and some of our clients have specific standards they want
    4. Advantages: When done right = accurate, easy to read and work with, Disadvantages: when done wrong = sloppy, not accurate and can make more work for other's to work with.

That's why I wanted to tell them "Hi!".
