Visual Style As Seen vs How it prints

I have a Viewport in which I have a Visual style which I created. It shows the hidden lines of a 3D solid. The problem is that when I set up to Plot and Zoom in the preview the 'hidden' line show as continuous. Is there a variable or something which will make the 'hidden' lines appear as hidden when I plot?

have you tried to set different linetype scales?

In the visual styles manager go to the hidden style and change the occluded edges - Show setting to "yes" and then make sure the linetype setting below is "hidden" and the colour setting is set to your required colour.

This should make the hidden lines show up, if they still look like continuous lines change the ltscale setting to a higher value until the lines show as hidden.

The "occluded" lines in Viewstyles do not respond to the ltscale commands. They are strange, generated entities of their own and seem to still be 3D as they get shorter and even disappear in the curves. The only thing to do is select from dash, long dash, medium dash and then print because plot preview does NOT show them as they will print.

This is in addition to the problem of modelspace entities remaining in their layer color no matter what color they are supposed to be in the viewstyle.
